The BMW 2002. Some may argue that this car was the first German sports saloon. It would hold four people, carry luggage and all while doing it sportingly. The one we are working on now, is the Tii. It is the Kugelfischer mechanical fuel injection system . It was the highest performance variant (besides the TURBO) of the 2002. This car was bought by Bills' kids as a gift. What a nice gift and car! The 2002 are getting increasingly hard to find in such nice shape. The 2002 is getting some upgrades, but first it needs to run! The fuel pump was intermittent and the positive battery cable was not making a good connection. We adjusted the valves and set up the air fuel mixture and it runs. Now for the fun part. It is getting a 5 speed conversion, rear disc brakes and and upgraded master cylinder. With these few modifications, the 2002 will ride again!
