This Right hand drive series II came to us to figure out why it was not running very well. Through a cylinder leakage test, we found that the number 3 and 4 cylinders had 90% leakage. We removed the cylinder head and this is what we found.
One of the big issues was the cylinder head gasket. We acquired a new head gasket and remanufactured cylinder head. We machined the head to raise the compression ratio. The owner will be using it as a promotional vehicle in Breckenridge for his new Distillery, click here for more info on the world's highest distillery, at 10,000 feet. These vehicles when new were pretty anemic at sea level, at 10,000 feet it would be less than acceptable for todays drivers & road conditions. Raising the compression ratio will help to give it some much needed get up & go.
It originally came from Christchurch New Zeland.
It has been well preserved
