A 1973 Ferrari 365 GTC4 in for serious oil leaks and a noisy timing chain. We washed the front of the engine, added some ultraviolet dye to the engine and determined the o-rings between the timing chest and the cylinder heads. Depending on how the timing chain tensioner stop was adjusted, the timing chain would either rattle at idle or off idle. Our path was clear, we needed to remove the timing chest.

We removed the timing chest complete with the oil and water pumps with the engine in the car. A project that a friend who works on these cars with come frequency said "Wow, that's not going to be a walk in the park".
