The 1953 MGTD is just about ready to go...!
The car was not running for 8-10 years. We reevaluated it and refurbished it as necessary and took their photo together the day they came to pick it up.
A disaster of another kind began in January when I decided to get serious about getting our old MG restored and roadworthy, by having it haulded to the premier foreign-car service in the city. There, it shared space with Ferraris. a Maserati, and a Lamborghini and Jaguars. Hopefully, some of the class rubbed off on the lowlt TD! It should have done because the bill, when we picked the car up in March, was three times the cost of a new MG 52 years ago. Have we had inflation, or what? But the car looks, runs and feels just like it did when we took possesion on a snowy day in Cleveland in April 1953.
